Roseate Spoonbill

Easily identified by its spoon-shaped bill, the Roseate Spoonbill, Platalea ajaja, is a wildly colored bird of the southern coasts. It swings its oddly shaped bill from side-to-side while feeding as one would use a spoon, allowing it to easily shift through mud.
